I’ve always enjoyed Kirsten Dunst‘s performances in all kinds of different genres, and the recent years have really found us captivated by her in the likes of Melancholia, Midnight Special and even an against-type role in Hidden Figures. Today we’ve got the beautiful, delicate trailer for A24’s Woodshock and although it has a deep Earthy vibe, it also has darkness running through its veins.

Written and directed by feature-film debutantes Kate Mulleavy and Laura Mulleavy, this trailer appears to take us on a trip through her mind and offers up suggestions of death, life beyond the ordinary and something to do with a breakdown of a relationship. The official synopsis offers us this further insight:

A woman falls deeper into paranoia after taking a deadly drug.

Starring alongside Dunst, is Joe Cole, Lorelei Linklater, Steph DuVall and Pilou Asbæ watch it here, now:

Woodshock opens in the US on 15 September 2017, with a UK release date to be confirmed.
