Christopher Nolan‘s Dunkirk finally opens across the UK on 21 July and this Thursday evening saw the World Premiere of Nolan’s 10th feature grace Leicester Square, alongside the stars and fans alike. Today, we’ve got a whole host of images and video from the event, which also saw Prince Harry joining the cast and crew alongside veterans on the red carpet in support of Contact, a group of charities from the military community who help people find support with their mental well-being.
Dunkirk opens as hundreds of thousands of British and Allied troops are surrounded by enemy forces. Trapped on the beach with their backs to the sea they face an impossible situation as the enemy closes in.
Check out the great gallery of shots* put together for your perusal…
*All photos from Warner Bros UK and, of course, this Premiere highlights video:
Contact is a group of charities working with the NHS and the MOD, who want to make it simpler for the military community to find support with their mental wellbeing. If you know a Service Person, Veteran or family member who needs support, head to: www.contactarmedforces.org.uk
