While the dust settles on another huge San Diego Comic Con (we’ll all make it there – together – one day right?), the geekdom and sheer love for all things film and comics never fades, and why should it! With that goodness in mind, it’s exciting to announce that Showmasters are returning with their Film and Comic Con to the South-West again this October, and bringing their usual array of guest stars and memorabilia to the fans down here in the Westcountry.
Film and Comic Con Exeter will be once again taking over Westpoint on Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th October 2017. They’re promising to bring us ‘some of your favourite stars from TV, Film and Comics as well as a whole host of fun activities including photo shoots, panels, autograph sessions and hundreds of stalls full of TV and Film memorabilia to browse.’
Names this year include the man behind Darth Vader’s mask, the legendary Dave Prowse, the sixth Doctor Colin Baker – a lovely chap! – plus other Doctor Who-famous folk John Leeson, Camille Coduri, Mat Irvine and Daphne Ashbrook from the Doctor Who movie. They’ve also got the super character actor Mark Rolston, from the likes of The Shawshank Redemption, Aliens and The X-Files alongside even more listed here on their site.
