Disney-Pixar’s Cars 3 recently revamped the series to see our hero Lightning McQueen set out to prove to a new generation of racers that he’s still the best in the world, and they did it pretty impressively, even after that early teaser made us wonder if it was finally the end for McQueen.
The Owen Wilson-voiced super race car has become an utter icon for so many kids (and adults!) and so we wanted to take a closer look at Dickie Toys/Disney’s supped-up Rusteze Racing Centre new-look Lightning and, of course, we needed an expert and so I thought my nephew Dylan would be the best person to trial it for us!
Just before his video review, here are some important stats about the car: This 1 channel radio controlled Jumbo sized RRC Lighting McQueen has full movement and is 33cm in length, it’s fully functional with left, right, forwards and backwards manoeuvrability, it’s (of course) an official licensed product and also needs those simple-to-find AA batteries to get it moving, 8 of those will do and, as Dylan points out, the stronger rechargeable ones are even better.
