Like we are at Critical Popcorn, the folks at IMAX could not be more excited for the Avengers: End Game, watch the trailer just below, because we’ll all be able to experience the Russo Brothers’ incredible film in IMAX cinemas on April 26, 2019.

It’s only the SECOND Hollywood film shot entirely with IMAX cameras, the first was a little feature called Avengers: Infinity WarHead down memory lane and go behind the scenes of the making of Infinity War with IMAX cameras here. Directors Joe and Anthony Russo utilised the ALEXA IMAX 65mm camera to film Avengers: End Game. It is a next-generation revolutionary 2D digital camera developed through a partnership between ARRI and IMAX for use by today’s leading filmmakers working in that format. The Russo Brothers first used it to shoot the airport battle sequence of Captain America: Civil War.

So finally in April, and on the biggest screen alongside the clearest images and heart-pounding audio, audiences that experience Avengers: End Game will also exclusively see up to 26% more picture Vs standard cinemas. The Russo Brothers shot the film with IMAX cameras and with IMAX aspect ratio so the pristine images will fill the entire screen – from the moment the film starts until the last credit leaves the screen. Exceptional.

We’ll bring you the IMAX links to book once tickets are released, we cannot wait!
