While slightly outside of our usual pop-culture LEGO remit, we just had to share this outstanding new set because of both it’s move towards sustainability but also because it’s utterly remarkable! This brand-new fan-designed LEGO Ideas Treehouse features over 180 plant based elements, made from plant based polyethylene – actual sustainable materials sourced from sugarcane – and these elements comprise all the leaves within the set! Wonderful.

Designed by French LEGO fan Kevin Feeser, who was inspired by his love of the outdoor and LEGO bricks, this beauty is made of over 3,000 pieces and includes three rooms, each with an easily removable roof. Also, and this is a very cool bit, the green leafy canopy can be replaced with golden leaves as it moves into autumn, that’s one of those extra touches! Overall, because we know you like these things, it measures over 14” (37 cm) high, 10” (27 cm) wide and 9” (24 cm) deep.
