One of the finest TV shows of the year, The Haunting of Hill House captivated and surprised with every episode with a superb re-telling of Shirley Jackson‘s legendary novel, and I’m very excited to share that news that it comes to DVD and Blu-ray on 14th October, just in tell to get fully in the mood for the awesomeness of Halloween.
Creator and director Mike Flanagan found a way to modernise the story of the five siblings who grew up in the most famous haunted house in America. Now adults, they come back together after the suicide of their youngest sister, which forces them to finally confront the ghosts of their pasts… some of which lurk in their minds… and some of which may really be lurking in the shadows of the iconic Hill House. It’s an absolute must-watch if you haven’t yet!

Paramount Home Entertainment‘s The Haunting of Hill House is offering up a 3-Disc Blu-ray™ set (Pre-order here) and a 4-Disc DVD set (Pre-order here) which feature all 10 episodes plus, for the first time, three Extended Director’s Cut episodes with never-before-seen content. Oh yes! The Blu-ray™ and DVD also include exclusive commentary by creator and director Mike Flanagan on four episodes.
Oh btw, Netflix have confirmed a second season as an anthology series, telling a new story each season. Cannot wait!:
