You know when you start reading up on a new TV series or film, and everything just screams ‘Yes Please!‘, well, today we’re sharing the news – and a first look – at Lisey’s Story, the highly anticipated limited series based on the best-selling novel and adapted and written by author Stephen King himself, and we mean every episode, will make its global debut on Friday 4 June, exclusively on Apple TV+.
The cast is exceptional as well, with Julianne Moore leading, alongside Clive Owen, Joan Allen, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Dane DeHaan, Ron Cephas Jones and Sung Kang. It’ll be an 8-episode Apple Original, that initially offers the first two episodes on its Premiere, and then a new one every Friday – I love it when you have to wait, it’s like it used to be!
Lisey’s Story is a deeply personal, pensive thriller that follows Lisey Landon (Moore) two years after the death of her husband, famous novelist Scott Landon (Owen). A series of unsettling events causes Lisey to face memories of her marriage to Scott that she has deliberately blocked out of her mind.
