We’re lucky to have Rosario Dawson, she’s a top talent who started all the way back 1995’s Kids, and has added to her filmography the likes of Josie and the Pussycats, Men in Black 2, Clerks II, Sin City, and Trance, she also made multiple appearances across the Marvel Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones era and it was all very welcome.

After being introduced to her as Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian, and she’d been rumoured for the role since 2017, it’s great to see this through to reality. The new Disney+ series will hit the small screen and premiere on the streaming service from 23 August, as we get the standalone live action series for Star Wars: Ahsoka from Lucasfilm.
Set after the fall of the Empire, Star Wars: Ahsoka follows Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy, and in addition to Dawson, the series also stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.
Written by Dave Filoni, here’s that TV Spot and some stills, plus you’ll find more by clicking here!
The series is exec produced by Filoni alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Karen Gilchrist is co-executive producer.
