I already know that Celine Song‘s Past Lives is probably going to break me, in a emotive sense, and after you’ve watched the trailer, you’ll definitely understand. And, worst/best of all? I’m looking forward to it.

Written and Directed by Celine Song, this is the playwrights debut feature that stars Greta Lee, Teo Yoo and John Magaro, and will come to the big screen on 8th September from STUDIOCANAL and A24.
Past Lives follows Nora (Lee) and Hae Sung (Yoo), who are two deeply connected childhood friends pulled apart when Nora’s family emigrates from South Korea. 20 years later, they’re reunited in New York for one fateful week as they confront notions of destiny, love, and the choices that make a life, in this heartrending modern romance…
With an original score from Grizzly Bear’s Christopher Bear and Daniel Rossen, watch the trailer now, and let me know what you think!
