A closer look at Fanattik’s roarsome 30th anniversary Jurassic Park collectibles range!

I’ve been a fan of We Are Fanattik for a while now, and it has been great to see their pop culture designs pick up a heap of love amongst fellow fans of all things film, TV, and cult movie goodness.

This year sees the 30th Anniversary of Steven Spielberg’s iconic, timeless Jurassic Park (one of my absolute all-time favourites), and to celebrate Fanattik have released a great selection of new and highly collectible releases, and I’ve been taking a closer look – and there’s some beauties for you to choose from!

As well as a fine selection of prints and posters, there’s also JP 30th Anniversary Collectible Coins, but today we’ll be focusing in on two of their Limited-Edition Ingots, an iconic pin badge and also a must-have ‘claw’ bottle-opener! In case you were wondering, you’re in good hands with Fanattik as well in terms of licensing, as they’ve been a long-term and official partner with Universal Studios since 2017, so these aren’t just smart designs because they’re also the genuine article.

A closer look…

Let’s kick off with the two Ingots but ‘what does that mean?!’, well this means a very cool JP-design has been cast in metal and so is a solid collectible, quite literally. First up is the famous and iconic mosquito set in amber, seen in the film at the top of John Hammond’s cane, and used to recreate those dinosaurs with clever DNA restructuring and genetic engineering. Absolutely limited to just 5,000 worldwide and individually numbers, it comes in a solid presentation box, with a little display stand – order here!

The other Ingot is the famous JEEP I.D. setup, this is a perfectly detailed creation in enamel with a fine shine on the final product, this also comes in the handy presentation box and I really liked the ‘93’ on the back, which also gives you that run down of health and safety considerations whilst in the Park although, curiously, doesn’t advise you on what to do if all the electric shuts down and goat leg lands on your roof… (order here)

And then there’s an ace Pin Badge which captures such a timeless scene, that of Dr Grant trying to distract the (eventual) hero T-Rex with a flare, to get it away from attacking the Lex and Tim who are stuck in the car, for the first time… in a film packed to the edges of the Island with iconic moments, this is a special one and it’s in enamel, limited worldwide and numbered as well – get it here!

And, finally in this selection, who wouldn’t want their very own Velociraptor Claw Bottle Opener? Well, now you can because this metal, heavy duty and magnetic Bottle Opener is designed on the famous claw that Dr Grant teases the young lad with at the dig early in the film. It also was a ‘Gift of the Year’ nominee recently and you can see why, a simple idea but affective, subtle, and deadly at opening beer bottles (or soft drinks), which mirrors one of the most intelligent dinosaurs on the Island, I love it!
