Based on the video game created by Scott Cawthon, and co-written with Seth Cuddeback and Director Emma Tammi, this new trailer for Five Nights at Freddy’s has the now-modern-classic vibe of all Blumhouse-backed films and is creepy enough to be intriguing.

If you don’t know the setup, you will from the trailer, but the film also follows security guard Mike Schmidt (Josh Hutcherson), as he begins working at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, a family entertainment business that’s been long abandoned but after his first night on the job, the night shift won’t be as easy as he’d thought to get through…
Alongside Hutcherson, the Five Night’s at Freddy’s also stars Elizabeth Lail, Piper Rubio, Kat Conner Sterling, Mary Stuart Masterson and Matthew Lillard plus, cool fact, the film’s iconic animatronic characters will be created by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop!
