Coming this September, from Annapurna Pictures and Apple Studios, I was instantly hooked by the intense trailer for Apple TV+ series, The Changeling, which is exec produced and stars the already-always-excellent LaKeith Stanfield, alongside Clark Backo, with Adina Porter, Samuel T. Herring, Alexis Louder, Jared Abrahamson, and Malcolm Barrett – and I’m very much into this unsettling fairy tale, most definitely for grown-ups!

Directed by Melina Matsoukas, and based on the best-selling book by Victor LaValle, and written and adapted by showrunner and exec producer Kelly Marcel, this is described as a part-horror story, part-parenthood fable, you can tell from the trailer that it promises to take us on a perilous odyssey through a New York City you didn’t know existed….
