First we had the David Beckham doc streaming on Netflix now, and that promised deeper look into his real life, and now we’ve got the Robbie Williams documentary on the way this 8 November, as Netflix offer up over 30 years of unseen footage across four episodes for one of the ultimate insights to a British superstar.

Williams is another who’s been part of my lifetime, and so some of this docs make me feel even older, but we know of his struggles and stories – but now we’re set to really get an insight and, very probably, of stories we’ve only heard a little about so far.

The series is directed by Joe Pearlman and executive produced by Oscar-winning Amy director Asif Kapadia, take a watch:
