Two of my absolute favourite actors of late, Ahmed and Buckley, in a new original film together? I’m here for it!
Fingernails, is the second feature and first English-language film from visionary director/writer/producer Christos Nikou (whose directorial debut was the critically acclaimed Apples), and stars Anna (Jessie Buckley) and Ryan (Allen White) who have found true love. And the twist? It’s been proven by a controversial new technology and so there’s just one problem: Anna still isn’t sure. Then she takes a position at a love testing institute, and meets Amir (Riz Ahmed)….
From Apple Original Films and also starring Luke Wilson, the film is co-written by Nikou, Stavros Raptis and Sam Steiner.
Fingernails will premiere in select cinemas and stream globally on Apple TV+ from 3 November
