Allons-y! This feels like it has been a lifetime for the return of Doctor Who, but I’m very excited to share the news that now is most definitely the time to cancel those other plans, and get your sonic screwdrivers ready, because the TARDIS returns on BBC One and iPlayer on Saturday 25 November!
David Tennant, who is very much the Fourteenth Doctor, is back as is the excellent Catherine Tate reprising her role as Donna Noble. This return is part of the 60th Anniversary year and three special episodes start on 25 November with The Star Beast.
Following that is Wild Blue Yonder on 2 December, and The Giggle on 9 December, as we’re taken on a new otherworldly adventure through space and time. Joining Tennant and Tate is Yasmin Finney as Rose Noble, Miriam Margolyes as the voice of the Meep, Jacqueline King as Sylvia Noble, Karl Collins as Shaun Temple, Ruth Madeley as Shirley Anne-Bingham, Jemma Redgrave as Kate Stewart and Neil Patrick Harris as the Toymaker… set to cause all kinds of mayhem.

It’s a very exciting time for new adventures, even with older faces, as then we’ll witness Ncuti Gatwa getting the keys to the TARDIS over the festive season – see you Christmas Day, yeah?
