I still think it’s a tough task to tell a story of a life with real heart, and even just a small part of a life in the case of the magnificent Past Lives from earlier this year, as an example. This new trailer for Christian Carion‘s Driving Madeleine is full of sweeping beauty and reflective heart – and that’s just a momentary look inside the story.

In the film we follow Madeleine (played by French national icon Line Renaud), who’s 92 years old and calls a taxi to take her to the retirement home where she’s moving to. Charles (Dany Boon), a disillusioned driver, however agrees to drive by the places that affected Madeleine’s life, and through the streets of Paris, her extraordinary past is revealed…
Watch the trailer now, we need a little life-affirming stories but, I figure, with a little twist in the tail as well:
