Like an unusual hybrid of the Hollywood-style Ocean‘s film series, with a hint of Fast & Furious, Red Notice, Now You See Me, Going in Style, heck – Heist – and beyond, LA loves to create a heist movie and most of the time it’s unlikely to be too serious – although there will definitely be a scene where things get serious.
This new trailer for LIFT (as in ‘the lift’ as in ‘heist’ as in ‘steal’) does have some fun lingering amongst this favoured film-making focus though, and comes from the pen of Daniel Kunka, and is directed by F. Gary Gray, who’s brought us the likes of The Negotiator, Straight Outta Compton, and Law Abiding Citizen – amongst the good stuff.

Netflix’s LIFT also has an interesting cast, alongside lead Kevin Hart, with co-starring spots for Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Vincent D’Onofrio, Úrsula Corberó, Billy Magnussen, Jacob Batalon, Jean Reno, and Sam Worthington, plus Viveik Kalra, Yun Jee Kim, Burn Gorman, and Paul Anderson.
