An equal eventual icon in her own right, but in a very different way, Priscilla Beaulieu first met Elvis Presley as a teenager at a party but this story isn’t another *just* about Elvis, although I really did enjoy Luhrmann’s invention, this time around director Sofia Coppola tells us the story through Priscilla’s eyes, as it’s based on the 1985 memoir Elvis and Me by Priscilla Presley and Sandra Harmon.

In this film, Coppola sets out to show us the unseen side of a great American myth in their long courtship and turbulent marriage, from a German army base to his dream-world estate at Graceland, in this deeply felt and ravishingly detailed portrait of love, fantasy, and fame…

Cailee Spaeny portrays Priscilla, with Jacob Elordi as Elvis Presley, and Dagmara Dominczyk as Ann Beaulieu.
