Holiday Funko Pops!

Unless you’ve been somewhere very serene, then you couldn’t have failed to notice the wealth of Funko Pops! across the Globe. However for the newly acquainted, Funko created popular Pops! which are (generally) 4” – 5” vinyl figures particularly known for their stylised giant heads and large eyes. They reach deep into the heart of all things geeky, and cover the likes of DC Comics, Lucasfilm, Universal, Disney, and Marvel to name a few – and today we get to deck the halls with a fine selection of their festive products!

We kick off with the glorious world of The Muppet Christmas Carol, fully embracing the perfect tradition for all the family, and their collectible character Pops! I personally believe that The Muppet Christmas Carol is one of the finest festive films of all-time, and certainly the strongest Muppet film. While they’ve got a whole selection, I got the opportunity to adore this Bob Cratchit and Tiny Tim (who did not die!), to make the viewing experience even better.

As you can see, there’s also the truly brilliant Charles Dickens *coughs, Gonzo* and Rizzo the Rat, the latter who definitely makes himself part of the Scrooge story, even if they both avoid the latter darker moments to tell a timeless tale. There is a ‘flocked’ version available, which means their outfit is a bit more velvety, so let us know if you’re lucky to pick one of those up.

The film sees everyone involved giving their all including Michael Caine playing it straight, and bringing forth all the right levels of seriousness and emotion. As well as these two sets, you can also pick up Fozziwig, the Marley Brothers, Mrs Cratchit, plus Michael Caine‘s Scrooge.

As well as those lovely sets, we can’t overlook the Marvel selection of Christmas specials as well. Here you can dive into the Holiday Multiverse with iconic characters from the MCU with these pop culture gifts for die-hard fans!

We wanted a closer look at the brilliant She-Hulk – an underrated series with a fine lead performance from Tatiana Maslany – who’s holding a gift box and comes with Christmas hat and elf ears – and a big favourite in our household. And there’s also the iconic Deadpool, now synonymous with Ryan Reynolds it seems, who comes complete with a thumbs up (things are always fine, right?) complete with Christmas sweater! I mean just look at them, they’re difficult not to love.

In other options, you can also pick up Iron Man who’s sharing his Christmas sack, Spider-Man in his favourite swinging sweater and Wolverine who’s covered in the cold white stuff, holding a “Ba Humbub!” sign. Perfect.

Finally, and these are new ones to me, have you seen the Bitty Pop! Figures? If you know, or remember, micro machines then they’ve got a similar style to them. Basically they’re tiny vinyl Funko Pop! figures that come with a little display shelf, so you know you’re going to have to try and collect them all.

In this instance, we’ve got a proper look at the Infinity Saga team who (in this box) features Captain America, Thor and Nick Fury plus there’s a mystery Pop! inside the box – I’ve had a peek but won’t reveal it… unless you ask nicely.

If you’re Marvel’d out, there’s other choices out there which includes Harry Potter, Disney Princesses, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and other classic DC characters. I can see these being very collectible and they take up a lot less space than the bigger ones, so whoever is buying them will definitely want to get more!
