Written and Directed by Daniel Levy, with this feature debut no less, this first trailer for Good Grief already ticks all the right boxes for me in both content and approach.

The story follows Marc (Levy) who’s content living in the shadow of his larger-than-life husband, Oliver (Luke Evans) but when Oliver unexpectedly dies, Marc’s world shatters, sending him and his two best friends, Sophie (Ruth Negga) and Thomas (Himesh Patel), on a soul-searching trip to Paris that reveals some hard truths they each needed to face.
I turned up late to the likes of the pure and brilliant Schitt’s Creek, created by Levy, so I have all the faith in the world that his debut as a feature-film writer and director will be one to look out for.
Good Grief also stars Celia Imrie, David Bradley, Arnaud Valois, Emma Corrin, and Kaitlyn Dever, check out the trailer now:
