Now, at first I wasn’t completely enamoured with what felt like a similar setup to other films, for this thriller-horror, but the Radio Silence team, that’s director’s Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, are so good at flipping the expected and once this trailer for Abigail kicks off, it looks like a huge amount of fun – and it’s not a spoiler to think about From Dusk till Dawn, but that’s just the central vibe.

Written by Stephen Shields and Guy Busick, this is promising to be a new vision for the vampire flick, and it begins when a group of criminals kidnap the 12-year-old daughter of a powerful figure, and all they have to do to get their money is keep the girl for one night, but… you see… in this situation she’s no normal young lady.
Starring Melissa Barrera, Dan Stevens, Kathryn Newton, William Catlett, Kevin Durand, Giancarlo Esposito and Angus Cloud, plus Alisha Weir as Abigail, think Dracula’s Daughter as well - Check out the trailer now:
