Awarded the Queer Palm and the Best Screenplay Award at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, Hirokazu Kore-eda’s Monster also picked up a glowing 4-star review from our man, Mark Walsh, at the London Film Festival in October!

Directed by Japanese filmmaker Hirokazu Kore-eda, Monster features excellent performances from Sakura Ando, Sōya Kurokawa and Hinata Hiiragi in their debut film roles.
The film also boasts a score by the late, legendary composer Ryuichi Sakamoto, and it’s also been recently nominated for Best International Independent Film at the 2023 BIFAs – check out the trailer now, it comes to cinemas on 15 March:
