Directed by Rachel Lambert, and starring Daisy Ridley, Dave Merheje, Parvesh Cheena, Marcia DeBonis, and Meg Stalter, this is a curious little trailer for Sometimes I Think About Dying that comes to UK cinemas from 19 April.
Set on the Oregon coast, Fran (Ridley) finds solace in her cubicle, and seems to genuine enjoy her place there, listening to the hum of officemates and occasionally daydreaming to pass the time. The truth is, Fran’s ghosting through life, but when a friendly new coworker Robert (Merheje) tries to connect with her, she may have to change how she sees things.


I really like that Ridley has decided to delve into producing as well as starring, and finding new projects that way, as it opens up a whole extra level of intrigue – in an era where so many key ‘big’ films can be reworking what we’ve seen before. But art has always done that, if the truth be known. Anyway, take a look and see what you think:
