As part of my ongoing admiration*, we’ve been continually impressed by UK company Majority and their audio equipment that not only proves you can get very decent quality on a lower budget, but also that there are companies willing to go the extra mile and make sure their products are suited for everyone.
I’ve personally tested out their soundbars, speakers – as well as a couple of music systems – with the genuine hope that the Cambridge-based company would bring the best sound they could, and I’ve been impressed for the last few years that I’ve known their work.

This time around, and as a vinyl fan I’m particularly intrigued, Majority Audio are launching their Majority Moto Turntable, which features channel speakers on the deck, plus Bluetooth in/out functionality, the ability to give USB recording and a very decent Audio-Technica AT3600L Cartridge, which is a reliable place for any vinyl lover to start – and will offer you a fine sonic soundtrack.
They also tell us that the Moto features a precision-engineered dampening platter and feet minimize vibrations, basically giving a stable foundation for your vinyl records and promising to deliver a distortion-free sound experience. Additionally, they’ve even added in a Majority-branded slip mat for smooth rotation and reduced friction, which sound enhance overall performance.

Oh, and yes they can also play 33/45 or 78 records and comes with that wood finish that should fit any home – I’m looking forward to testing out the sound, and can do with the wireless Bluetooth Majority Audio D40X pair and see what this can do – once it’s out, of course!
