Now here’s a film that sent shockwaves through both the horror and indie film world 25 years ago, and I still remember how unsettling it felt watching it first-time around!
Raw, relentless and eerily real, this visceral landmark tapped into primal fears and changed the face of horror forever. The Blair Witch Project, featuring Heather Donahue, Joshua Leonard and Michael C. Williams, also put ‘found footage’ firmly on the map, and it returns with a meticulously crafted Limited Edition Blu-ray Box set from horror aficionados Second Sight Films, and it arrives on 11 November – pre-order here!

Presented in a new rigid slipcase with new artwork by Timothy Pittides and comes complete with a 184-page hardback book with archive production materials, new essays and an additional book ‘Heather’s Journal’ – which is nice. There’s also a Standard Edition Blu-ray release (pre-order that one here) and both versions are packed with exclusive extras (listed below), including a brand new restoration from the Hi-8 videotapes and 16mm film elements, supervised and approved by directors Eduardo Sanchez (V/H/S/2, Yellowjackets) and Daniel Myrick (Triple 7, Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2) and producers Greg Hale and Michael Monello.

There’s also a brand new documentary, new commentary, previously unseen video footage, archival bonus material and more. As you’d expect from Second Sight Films, an absolute plethora of extras and I’ve added it all below:
