Never the ones not to share some love for anything tech that makes that Home Cinema experience even better, and affordable, we had to put the spotlight on the MIXX StreamQ TV Bundle, after some usual tests to check it does what it says on the tin, well, from the stylish box it arrived in!
If you’re living in a busy household, or just like to really immerse, and want that full ‘living-in-the-movie’ experience, this setup offers an interesting, surround sound escape with seamless wireless audio streaming for movies, TV shows, and even music.

In case you didn’t know, Global Movie Day is on 8th February and so – if there was even an excuse to watch a few more films – this is surely peak team-up! While there’s always the usual big tech brands out, and in a world of invention, I like to keep an eye out for something fresh and affordable when it comes to audio products, and while this was my first time checking out MIXX (and find out more about them here) and their StreamQ Surround wireless headphones and the StreamQ TV Bundle, it’s been such a simple and rewarding process. You just unpack, plug it in and connect almost instantly.
So, what do we get with the MIXX StreamQ TV Bundle?

Well, the MIXX StreamQ TV Bundle promises itself to be the ‘ultimate entertainment solution’, as it combines powerful StreamQ Surround Wireless Headphones with their StreamPort TV Audio Transmitter. Together, the products provide an immersive, wire-free audio experience for both viewing and listening. Whether enjoying dynamic 3D surround sound for movies and TV shows or streaming music from a smartphone to a sound system, the MIXX StreamQ TV Bundle offers an exciting entertainment experience that transforms any home into a high-quality audio hub.
In the centre of this affordable setup is the MIXX StreamQ Surround over-ear wireless Bluetooth headphones, crafted for superior sound quality. These are headphones which offer cinema-like 3D surround sound, bringing every scene to life in all types of genre. It’s key features are:
3D Surround Sound: Delivers a rich, immersive audio experience that enhances movies and TV shows with deep, dynamic sound.
Bluetooth Connectivity: Effortlessly pairs with Bluetooth-enabled devices, such as laptops, tablets, TVs, and smartphones.
40-Hour Battery Life: Provides up to 40 hours of playtime on a single charge, ensuring long, uninterrupted listening sessions.
Voice Mode: Ensures crystal-clear dialogue for an enhanced viewing experience, particularly during speech-heavy scenes, or perfect for watching chat shows, sports or news coverage.
Music Mode: for a perfectly balanced musical experience with a wide soundstage and rich yet detailed sound.

Combined with the headphones is the StreamPort TV Audio Transceiver. This very decently-sized device allows audio to be streamed wirelessly from your TV to your headphones, or you can use it to stream music from your phone to a connected speaker system or soundbar, via a digital or old-school amp connector – which will fit into the back of probably all modern TVs. It’s stand-out features are:
Transmit Mode (TX): Streams audio wirelessly from a TV to one or two sets of StreamQ Surround headphones while simultaneously passing the audio through to a home sound system or soundbar.
Receive Mode (RX): Streams music from any Bluetooth-enabled device, such as a smartphone, to a home audio system or soundbar for high-quality wireless playback.
Low Latency Bluetooth: Minimises lag with a latency of less than 70ms, ensuring synchronised audio without lip-sync issues.
Multiple Connectivity Options: Features USB-C power input, 3.5mm audio input/output, and optical input/output, providing flexible and reliable audio transmission.
So, overall, the MIXX StreamQ Surround wireless headphones and StreamQ TV Bundle is not only designed for movie lovers and audiophiles but are ideal for those who want to listen louder. And with my old ears, it doesn’t half help.
