Man, I love a bit of Stephen King, and the lingering balloon of Pennywise continues to terrifying nearly 40 years after the book first hit the shelves, and now we’ve got a new HBO show on the way in the form of It – Welcome to Derry!

In the UK, it’ll show on Sky from 27 October, as well as the streaming service NOW, and the good news is that it’ll be properly set in the world of King’s “IT” universe. We’re told expands the vision established by filmmaker Andy Muschietti in the feature films IT and IT Chapter Two – and he’s very much involved in bringing this series to life, as it’s been developed by him with Barbara Muschietti and Jason Fuchs, with Andy directing multiple episodes.
Starring Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, James Remar, Stephen Rider, Madeleine Stowe, Rudy Mancuso, and Bill Skarsgård, oh yes, here’s that teaser just below the big trailer to get those shapeshifting teeth into…
