Following on from the huge season two finale of Doctor Who on Saturday, we also got an exciting first look at the next chapter (which began production last summer) in the Whoniverse, The War Between The Land And The Sea, and new stills of of Russell Tovey as Barclay and Gugu Mbatha-Raw as Salt.

Directed by Dylan Holmes Williams, the five-part series also stars Jemma Redgrave, Alexander Devrient, Ruth Madeley, Colin McFarlane, Adrian Lukis, Patrick Baladi, Francesca Corney, Mei Mac, and Vincent Franklin, plus Waleed Hammad, Iestyn Arwel, Hannah Donaldson, Manpreet Bachu, and Ann Akinjirin, here’s that look and keep scrolling for the trailer!

When a fearsome and ancient species emerges from the ocean, dramatically revealing themselves to humanity, an international crisis is triggered. With the entire population at risk, UNIT step into action as the land and sea wage war.
