Critical popcorn

I was a fan of the Prime Video series Jack Ryan, with John Krasinski in the title role, it brought an impressive level of espionage and action, and so I’m excited to see key characters return for a movie event with Jack Ryan: Ghost War coming to Prime Video from 20 May!

This time around Ryan is dragged back into the spy world when a covert mission reveals a conspiracy which, in turn, forces him to fight a rogue black-ops unit. The action thriller is set across the globe, with Krasinski returning, plus Wendell Pierce‘s James Greer, and Michael Kelly‘s Mike November, as well as Sienna Miller joining the cast as the sharp MI6 officer Emma Marlowe, as well as Max Beesley, JJ Feild, Douglas Hodge and Betty Gabriel.

Directed by Andrew Bernstein, the screenplay is by Aaron Rabin, and Krasinski, based on a story by Krasinski and Noah Oppenheim, all based on characters created by Tom Clancy.
