I’ve missed watching House of Cards and feel this could be the closest it’ll get to being deeply interesting as it reflects the dark underbelly of American politics at the top of the chain. Frank Underwood has never hidden his intentions for power and, so far, has shot down every contender in his path and this trailer for series 5 is dark, brooding and delicious.

In a world where Trump thinks he’s some kind of force, he’s actually a secondary third season, one episode character compared to the Underwood power pair. With Frank holding onto whatever he’s got, and obviously willing to take whatever steps necessary, it appears that him and Claire are stronger than ever when it comes to manipulating those around them but what about their relationship..?

Starring Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright in the roles of their lives, there’s also Joel Kinnaman who returns as Will Conway, alongside Michael Kelly, Jayne Atkinson, Derek Cecil, Paul Sparks, and Neve Campbell. I can’t wait for this one.
