With a pretty solid cast on board including the excellent Margot Robbie and Simon Pegg, Terminal has been confirmed to open in UK cinemas on 6 July, and it’ll be followed up with a Home Entertainment release on DVD, Blu-Ray, Digital and On Demand from 6 August.
From Arrow Films, Terminal is the directorial feature debut of Vaughn Stein and is a co-production between Robbie’s LuckyChap Entertainment and BeaglePug Films. While it’s interesting that the Home Ent release follows just a month after the cinema, I do wonder if this is going to be more common place in the future, especially when these smaller releases are going up against the 3-figure million-pound blockbusters.
The movie is set in a dark, anonymous city and follows the twisting tales of two assassins carrying out a sinister mission (played by Max Irons and Dexter Fletcher), a teacher battling illness (Simon Pegg), an enigmatic janitor (Mike Myers) and a waitress leading a double life (Margot Robbie).
