Yeah you heard us right, LEGO have produced a stunning-looking Hogwarts Castle full of remarkable detail and you know what makes it even better? You’ll be able to pick it up from 15 August and have a go at making yourself, if you’ve got some spare cash (and time!) for the 6,020 piece set.

The iconic Castle is now a hugely detailed, microscale LEGO Harry Potter Castle with all those pieces that take us inside the chambers, towers and classrooms of Hogwarts as well as a whole lot more. While LEGO originally came to the fore with HP in 2001, this year they’re reintroducing the love with new sets and the stand-out one is, of course, The Castle that comes with specially created build-able stained-glass windows, as well as the house banners that adorn the walls of the hall during the grand banquets.

Here’s a bit more official insight:

Explore Hagrid’s Hut complete with Aragog the Acromantula before venturing out to the Whomping Willow, featuring a buildable flying Ford Anglia car stuck in its spinning branches. This set comes with 27 microfigures including: Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger and Albus Dumbledore and many of your other favourite characters from the Wizarding World.

The LEGO Hogwarts Castle measures over 22” (58cm) high, 27” (69cm) wide and 16” (43cm) deep making this a truly grand model of the legendary Hogwarts Castle. You can attend a Defence Against the Dark Arts class with Dolores Umbridge and take on a Boggart as part of your Hogwarts experience. Step inside Professor Dumbledore’s office, head to the memory cabinet and view your memories from the Pensieve.

Also included within this set are 4 minifigures of Hogwarts founders Helga Hufflepuff, Godric Gryffindor, Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin as well as a wide range of microfigures including five Dementors and a buildable Hungarian Horntail figure.

Excited? We are! You can order now directly from LEGO Stores and online, it’s released on 15th August for LEGO VIPs and 1st September for everyone else.

    1. Isn’t it just? LEGO have found one hell of a niche that doesn’t get tiresome… I love this, but how long would it take??
