UPDATE 12/7: With new art released… as we await an air date!

After we announced earlier this month that Amazon Prime Video would be streaming the new Star Trek series, today we have confirmation it’s called Star Trek: Picard, new art and the very first teaser trailer that looks all kinds of awesome!

Sir Patrick Stewart returns to the iconic role as Picard, and the show is set to following his character into the ‘next chapter of his life.’ Alongside Stewart, Star Trek: Picard will also star Alison Pill (The Newsroom), Michelle Hurd (Blindspot), Evan Evagora (Secret City), Isa Briones (Takers), Santiago Cabrera (Salvation), and Harry Treadaway (Penny Dreadful).

Star Trek: Picard will stream on Prime Video in more than 200 countries and territories around the world. In the United States, the series will be available exclusively on CBS All Access, and in Canada on Bell Media’s cable networks, Space and Z, and OTT service Crave.
