We all know Wes Anderson does Wes Anderson very well indeed. In fact, if you’re talking about a Wes Anderson film, then it’s very likely that you’ve created a Wes Anderson aesthetic lingering in the back of your mind, just off-centre, behind a meticulously crafted set, possibly in silhouette, but maybe only when you get to Part 3 of the Wes Anderson dreamscape.

What do you mean, where am I going Dan? Well, I can tell you this is all about the new trailer and poster for Wes Anderson‘s new adventure, The French Dispatch, and it’s looking more Wes Anderson than ever! I, for one and without a single moment of doubt or fear, think it’s going to be spectacular, when released on 28th August in the UK, and just wait until you see the cast!

If you missed it, your cast is: Benicio Del Toro, Frances McDormand, Jeffrey Wright, Adrien Brody, Tilda Swinton, Bill Murray, Timothée Chalamet, Lea Seydoux, Owen Wilson, Mathieu Amalric, Lyna Khoudri, Stephen Park, Bob Balaban, Jeff Goldblum, Elisabeth Moss, Saoirse Ronan, Edward Norton, Christoph Waltz, Willem Dafoe, Lois Smith, and Liev Schreiber.

The French Dispatch opens its pages from 28th August.
