Today we’ve got the new trailer for Bassam Tariq’s visceral feature debut, Mogul Mowgli, co-written by, and starring Riz Ahmed, and we can’t wait to see it at the BFI London Film Festival, on its initial release!
The film follows British Pakistani rapper Zed (Ahmed) who, on the edge of his first world tour, is struck down by an illness that threatens to derail his big break, this looks class. I’d also recommend the trailer for Sound of Metal, for some intriguing Ahmed/Music-related goodness. Mogul Mowgli will be part of the Dare Strand at #LFF2020, with virtual and physical screenings beginning on the 10th October.
