Woah. After already being super excited for the upcoming series Foundation (based on the Isaac Asimov novels), and the incredible Lisey’s Story, it feels like Apple TV+ are aiming bigger and expansive all the time, you’ll feel the same after you watch this huge teaser trailer for Invasion, coming 22 October only on their exclusive streaming service.
The 10-episode science-fiction drama series, from Academy Award-nominated and two-time Emmy Award-nominated producer Simon Kinberg and David Weil is described as a sweeping, character-driven Apple Original series, produced by Boat Rocker Studios, will make its global debut on Apple TV+ with the first three episodes, followed by new episodes weekly, every Friday. Invasion is set across multiple continents, and follows an alien invasion through different perspectives around the world. The series stars Shamier Anderson, Golshifteh Farahani, Sam Neill, Firas Nassar and Shioli Kutsun, it’s written and executive produced by Kinberg and Weil and executive produced by Jakob Verbruggen (“The Alienist,” “The Fall”), who also directed multiple episodes.
