In what’s a big move for Rakuten TV, alongside the major streamers, their app can finally be added to your PS5 roster and with it they’ve launched their latest titles for the *looks out the window* summer, with a host of action and animated content to choose from!

As well making their content more accessible, to a much wider audience, on the Playstation 5, with a whole host if options across AVOD, TVOD and Live Channels, you’ll also be able to buy and rent the latest Hollywood titles straight out of cinema, watch for free with ads top Hollywood movies or enjoy free TV channels across various genres such as News, Movies, Kids, Sports or entertainment.
Rakuten TV will be serving up a plethora of entertainment for parents this summer, with Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, and Hotel Transylvania: Transformania being released on Rakuten TV’s “Store” (TVoD) selection, all available to rent from £4.99 and buy from £13.99. Adding to this awesome animation roster, Rakuten TV’s Action channel will be airing a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles marathon every Wednesday at 6pm throughout the month.

Rakuten TV’s “August Action” slate also kicks off on their “Store” selection with action thrillers On the Line, The Three Musketeers – D’Artagnan and Hunt Club joining Rakuten TV’s dynamic portfolio. Complementing this action-packed month is Rakuten TV’s “Free”(AVoD) selection, which will include Panama and Don’t Say A Word in its slate, with the former starring Mel Gibson and the latter Michael Douglas and Sean Bean. Oscar-winning titles The Big Short and Birdman have also joined the ‘Free’ selection from Rakuten TV.
For football fans looking to be even more engrossed this month, Rakuten TV’s “Live TV” DAZN Women’s Football Fast channel will give fans front row seats to the very best action in women’s football, including live UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL) and Liga F games, behind-the-scenes access and highlights packages celebrating the biggest teams and players in women’s football. Similarly, the FIFA+ Fast channel will allow fans to enjoy FIFA+ Originals, full-length documentaries, docuseries, movies and shorts.
