Oh. My. Gawd! Like so many of you, I grew up with Friends through my teens and beyond. It was a staple Friday night moment, it was joyful and ridiculous and highly entertaining, and – as we all know – endlessly quotable, could I be any more correct?

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of one of TV’s most watched sitcoms, Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment are set to release FRIENDS: The Complete Series in 4K Ultra HD on 23 September… and you can pre-order yours now: https://amzn.to/4diu8QK

No doubt the absolute ultimate boxset for any fan, it includes over 110 hours of content – including all 236 (!) original broadcast episodes released for the first time in 4K Ultra HD, and also over 20 hours of extra features including all-new bonus content!

FRIENDS was created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman and aired on NBC in the States from September 1994 to May 2004. The show followed the loves and lives of close friends living in New York City, which includes siblings Ross (David Schwimmer) and Monica Geller (Courteney Cox), along with friends Chandler Bing (the late, great Matthew Perry), Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow), Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc) and Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston).

An absolute cast chemistry masterclass took the Globe by storm, and I’m shocked (in a good way) that it’s now the 30th Anniversary, but continues to hold a unique place in popular culture and hearts worldwide. With its sharp humor, relatable characters, and memorable catchphrases, it endures to this day.

As well as this initial FRIENDS: The Complete Series in 4K UHD release, there are rumours of UK limited edition collector’s boxset, featuring exclusive packaging and premiums, releasing later in 2024 and will be available to pre-order soon – I’ll add it here as soon as I get the deets.
