An entertaining, stylistic and psychologically unsettling piece of pulp cinema, Lorcan Finnegan‘s The Surfer, has been captivating audiences since its premiere at the 77th Cannes Film Festival – and check out our 4-star review from Nick right here – and now it’s also coming to you to stream at home from Vertigo Releasing!

Starring the iconic actor Nicolas Cage, with a terrific ensemble including Julian McMahon, Nicholas Cassim, Miranda Tapsell, and Alexander Bertrand

A man returns to the idyllic beach of his childhood to surf with his son, but is humiliated by a group of powerful locals and drawn into a conflict that rises with the punishing heat of the summer and pushes him right to his breaking point.

The film recently stormed the box office, with close to a quarter of a million pounds in ticket sales, supported by some grassroots activity including an electric Nicolas Cage lookalike contest outside the Prince Charles Cinema, and an eye-catching tour of London with our very own sun-soaked Surfers.

The Surfer is available to own on Digital from 23 June, or rent it on Digital from 7th July on Apple TV, Prime Video, Sky Store, YouTube Movies, Rakuten, Virgin Media and more!

You can also pre-order it on Blu-ray or DVD here: https://amzn.to/4llN2dc
