I’m gonna burn it all down….
I’m not sure on your views on synchronicity but this new trailer for the upcoming Scream 7 hits the site just as we say goodbye, not we’ll be right back, and when I saw the original back in the mid-90s, all those years ago, it changed my view of horror exponentially
I’m always exciting for a new angle and although this Scream 7 trailer inhabits a ‘going back to basics‘ vibe, that’s fine by me, and with original writer Kevin Williamson directing, plus Guy Busick on the screenplay, from a story by James Vanderbilt and Busick, the team involved are certainly the best we could have in terms of awareness of the franchise.

And it gets better, as Neve Campbell returns to the now-legendary role of Sidney Prescott, but this time has to save herself and her daughter, Tatum (!) (Isabel May) from the killer blade and clutches of Ghostface, as history tracks her down and – quite very possibly – those moments from the past have to be confronted and finally ended – it’s gonna be a scream, baby!
There’s a slight crossover from the recent franchise and while, personally it’s a pity some major players may not be involved this time, there’s also a great cast which includes the one and only Courteney Cox, plus Mason Gooding, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Joel McHale, supposedly David Arquette, and then Anna Camp, Mark Consuelos, Ethan Embry, Asa Germann, Mckenna Grace, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Michelle Randolph and Jimmy Tatro – oh and a little bonus Matthew Lillard and Scott Foley, plus the most famous voice of all from Roger L. Jackson as the voice of Ghostface.
ENJOY your trailer
