If, for some strange reason, you hadn’t picked up a subscription to Disney+ yet, well, here’s another reason to sort that out because Season 2 of The Mandalorian is coming to the small screen from 30th October, and so that gives you good time to watch Season 1, if you haven’t already!
We pretty loved the escapism and return to the nostalgia of ‘old’ Star Wars, check out Pete’s S1 Blog, but the series also opened up a whole new dimension to the saga and it was more than welcome. In Season 2, The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire….
Of course, the series stars our anti-hero Pedro Pascal in the lead role, alongside Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito. Directors for the new season include Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, Peyton Reed and Robert Rodriguez. Showrunner Favreau serves as executive producer along with Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson, with Karen Gilchrist serving as co-executive producer.
