Based on Paul Tremblay’s The Cabin at the End of the World, this first trailer for the M. Night Shyamalan directed and written Knock at the Cabin is definitely a curious one, even if I can’t quite feel the mood, or know the book well enough, but that’s okay for the moment…

Starring Dave Bautista, Jonathan Groff, Ben Aldridge, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Kristen Cui, Abby Quinn and Rupert Grint, the film follows a couple who, whilst staying at a remote cabin with their young girl, are taken hostage by four armed strangers who demand that the family make an unthinkable choice to avert the apocalypse. With limited access to the outside world, the family must decide what they believe before all is lost…
