I like a stylish trailer, and although The Exorcist: Believer may have let us down there in the end, there’s the grand possibility of a bad Bill Nighy and undoubtedly something creepy in the works as we head to The First Omen.
From 20th Century Studios, this is definitely a chilling trailer and nicely realised for the upcoming psychological horror The First Omen. Directed by Arkasha Stevenson, this is a prequel to the classic horror film franchise, that opens 5 April 2024, exclusively in cinemas.

Based on the characters created by David Seltzer, with a story by Ben Jacoby, and a screenplay from Stevenson, Tim Smith and Keith Thomas, we begin in Rome where a young woman has been sent to offer a life of service to the church but, whilst there, encounters a darkness that causes her to question her own faith and uncovers a terrifying conspiracy that hopes to bring about the birth of evil incarnate… of course.
The First Omen stars Nell Tiger Free, Tawfeek Barhom, Sonia Braga, Ralph Ineson, and Bill Nighy, get your first look now:
