Watch: Maya Rudolph and Fred Armisen in first trailer for ‘Forever’ – Coming to Prime Video this September

I don’t know for definite what’s going on here and because of that, I’m already in. Forever is created by Emmy-winning writers Alan Yang (Master of None, Parks and Recreation) and Matt Hubbard (30 Rock, Parks and Recreation) and also because Maya Rudolph and Fred Armisen star… I’m already sure this will be awesome.

They play married couple June (Rudolph) and Oscar (Armisen), who live a comfortable, predictable life in suburban California. For 12 years they’ve had the same conversations, eaten the same meals and holidayed at the same rented lake house. But… after June talks Oscar into shaking things up with a ski trip, the pair find themselves in completely unfamiliar territory.

Forever looks like an intriguing original drama about all things love, commitment and more… and in this golden age of streaming/television, I’m really hopeful for something special – Watch the trailer now for yourselves:

Forever also co-stars Catherine Keener, Noah Robbins and Kym Whitley. It comes to Prime Video from 14 September – Watch it.
