Although we might have a better idea of changing cinema opening times ahead, it’s still a little too far away for everything, so Lionsgate are officially launching Ammonite, the Saoirse Ronan and Kate Winslet-exquisite-starrer, this 26 March on all Digital Platforms, with rumours of select releases, assuming UK cinemas re-open, from 17 May.
Beautifully shot, and with great performances from the lead two, Ammonite definitely got people talking at the London Film Festival (Check out our full review) after Francis Lee‘s film took us to 1840s Lyme Regis, England, where acclaimed but overlooked fossil hunter Mary Anning and a young woman sent to convalesce by the sea develop an intense relationship, altering both of their lives forever….
Ammonite will be available for premium rental at home on all digital platforms from March 26, we’ll add all the links here when they arrive!
