Damian McCarthy’s Hokum looks all kinds of terrifying, while also a possibly tremendous new venture for Adam Scott, who’s finally getting the plaudits he’s certainly earned over the years!

Coming to UK and Irish cinemas from 1st May, Hokum follows reclusive novelist Ohm Bauman (Scott), who retreats to a remote Irish inn to scatter his parents’ ashes but, whilst there, the staff’s tales of an ancient witch haunting the honeymoon suite take hold of his mind…

Written and Directed by McCarthy, the film also stars Peter Coonan, David Wilmot, and Austin Amelio – it looks utterly creepy, take a look:
