Beautiful Days Festival: 16-18 August in Escot Park, Devon – Book your tickets now!

The unique Beautiful Days festival returns this August, from 16th to the 18th in fact, and it isn’t just because we’re Devon-based that we wanted to share all the line-up, news and booking details but also due to the fact this is its 16th year AND, for us, it’s one of the select festivals in the UK that still holds all the heart, soul and spirit of what great festivals are all about.

This annual family-friendly weekend camping (Is it a festival if you’re not camping?) collaboration this year sees the likes of LA punk rock band NOFX and Florida ska-punk Less Than Jake plus impressive, established acts like Skunk Anansie, Ziggy Marley, and the Levellers plus The Stranglers, Sleaford Mods, Ash, Songhoy Blues, Hothouse Flowers, The Black Seeds, Peter Hook & The Light, Steeleye Span, Cast, Kate Rusby, Seth Lakeman, Ferocious Dog, Cara Dillon, Fisherman’s Friends and that’s just to name a selection. There’s also comedy, theatre, craft workshops, a great selection of food for meat-eaters, vegetarians and vegans PLUS – a very important part – real ale bars with Otter Brewery – hoorah!

Beautiful Days is a festival that trusts you, and with it expects the same in return which, again, is refreshingly original in this era and that’s why we’re recommending it to families, friends and those beyond. As a little background, and for those who don’t know, it’s actually the Levellers’ independent family music festival organised by DMF Music which takes place at Escot Park in Devon and, most excitingly, the festival has no sponsorship, branding and does not advertise. How about that? P.S. They also do a ‘theme’ day on the Sunday, which in 2019 is Fairy Tales, so get your craft kits out and dare to be imaginative!
