One of Marvel’s most compelling and conflicted characters comes to the big screen as Oscar-winner Jared Leto transforms into the enigmatic antihero, Michael Morbius. Dangerously ill with a rare blood disorder, and determined to save others suffering his same fate, Dr Morbius attempts a desperate gamble. What at first appears to be a radical success soon reveals itself to be a remedy potentially worse than the disease.
Like 2018’s Venom, Morbius promises to present a fresh new take on the popular Spider-Man villain. Created by writer Roy Thomas and originally designed by penciler Gil Kane, the character first appeared as an antagonist in The Amazing Spider-Man issue #101, released back in 1971, and has been a semi-regular character in the comics ever since. This will mark the first live action appearance of the character though, and the new trailer promises plenty of the horror and internal conflict that the character is known for.

Morbius is directed by Daniel Espinosa with a screenplay by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless and Art Marcum and Matt Holloway. The film stars Jared Leto, Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal, and Tyrese Gibson.
