Coming to Starzplay in the UK on 17 May, and Starz in Canada and the States, Hightown is a new crime drama that spans 8-episodes and stars Monica Raymund and James Badge Dale.
Created by Rebecca Cutter, with exec producing from Jerry Bruckheimer, Hightown takes place at the iconic Cape Cod and is set to show us one woman’s journey to sobriety, intertwined with an unfolding murder investigation. Raymund plays Jackie Quiñones, a partying National Marine Fisheries Service agent whose free-wheeling life is thrown into disarray when she discovers a body on the beach – another casualty of Cape Cod’s opioid epidemic.
As a result, she tries to start getting clean but gets embroiled into believing she can solve the murder but ends up at odds with Sergeant Ray Abruzzo (Badge Dale), check out the trailer and let us know if you’ll be watching, cinematographer Rachel Morrison directs the first two episodes
